Christina Steffen, flutist, has appeared as a soloist and with many chamber ensembles including concerts at the Abiquiu Chamber Music Festival, Red Rocks Music Festival, AZ MusicFest, Phoenix Art Museum, Glendale Library, Tubac Center for the Arts, the Scottsdale Arts Festival, Arizona State University, Arts Midwest and the University Series in California. She has performed with the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, many free-lance ensembles, and at music festivals in Switzerland and England.

Christina also regularly performs for entertainer acts and National Broadway tours. Memorable highlights include playing for Bernadette Peters, Natalie Cole, Rita Moreno, the Temptations, Marvin Hamlisch, Michael Feinstein, Paul Potts,  Michael Cavanaugh (Billy Joel's Movin' Out), the Broadway tours of
Wicked, Mary Poppins, Legally Blonde, The Producers, Elton John’s Aida, Annie, and A Chorus Line. Recent commercial recordings have been new music for the PBS show, Horizon, promotional videos for United Way and First Things First, commercials for Del Webb, SRP, and many other recording projects.

She is the flutist for the chamber trio, Paradisa! (www.paradisa.net), has been on the Performing Artist's Roster for the Arizona Commission on the Arts, and is vice-president of both the Arizona Flute Society and  the Phoenix Chapter of the Theatre Musicians Association. Ms. Steffen received her Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in flute performance from the University of Arizona School of Music.
In addition to performing, Christina teaches flute at Mesa Community College, Paradise Valley Community College and Scottsdale Community College. She coaches chamber ensembles and is the music director of the Desert Echoes Flute Project, a flute orchestra, which was recently selected to perform at the National Flute Association’s annual conference. 

  Paula Provo is currently performing as the principal harpist for the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra.  She is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, PA and was enrolled in graduate studies at the UA School of Music where she was a member of the ten harp ensemble, Harpfusion.  She performed as principal harpist for the Tanglewood Fellowship Orchestra (MA), the National Repertory Orchestra (CO), and Symphony of the West Valley (AZ).  Her international credits include performances in Japan, France, and Canada as well as at New York's Carnegie Hall.

Paula has accompanied numerous celebrities such as Josh Groban,  Luciano Pavarotti, Celine Dion, Mannheim Steamroller, Olivia Newton John, Yanni, Tony Bennet, and Ray Charles.  She performed in the pit orchestras for musicals, including The Producers, Evita, The King and I, Carousel, and My Fair Lady.

A native Phoenician, Paula appears at many Arizona resorts and performs at private and business events.  She also serves as an artist in residence for Mayo Clinic Hospital.

As the Provo-Steffen Duo, Paula and Christina have previously been selected to the Performing Artists Roster of the Arizona Commission on the Arts.  They are available for public or private concert performances.  Salon concerts in private homes are a favorite with the two musicians.
